The lad's were in this game all the way and should have won it but for a little bad luck near the end, They were dissappointed with the draw they felt this game got away.

We have lift off , what a stunning weekend and what a way to finish for the Christmas break , a 19 Goal Bonanza .

The ignition switch was pushed on Saturday when Fergus lead the charge with a stunning 6-0 victory over Ramble Inn
Sam O' Neill and Jason Bailey were the stars of the show Sam netting a Hat-Trick to give him the lead in the Golden Boot Competition and Jason and Rowan chipping in with 3 more , back to back wins for the lad's puts them in great shape for the rest of the season.

Sunday morning a crisp sunny December day and  Bocca Seniors was the next team to fall at the horns of the ''Bull''
This was no even fight for our Premier Matador was on show , '' Frankie the Killer Dwane'' encompassing ,great agility,
grace, and coordination gave a performance fit for the top Bullfighting rings of Spain.
Bocca crumbled as Frankie twisted the sword into their open wounds , striking five times , the beast fell to the ground .
Frankie now goes back to the  top of the Golden Boot Competition and leads by 3 from Sam. It's still all to play for.

The action then switched to pitch 23 where the young guns of Div 3 were playing St Patricks, they went 1 down after 20 minutes but against the run of play .
The flood gates then opened with Ollie Calley 2, Nial Barry 1, Cormac Dodd  with his first goal of the season, Andy Moore 1 Peter Collins 1 (peno) and then we had the Jewel in the Crown, a 35 yard blockbuster hit with the power of the Incredible Hulk ,if you blinked you missed it ,what a goal it bobbed and weaved and crashed into the back of the net at 100 miles an hour it was just incredible a goal for the conasure from the boot of ''Big John O Halloran''.
A super win for the lad's and a great end to their first few months in senior football.
